Hello and welcome to the September edition of the Brighton Person-Centred Community news.

We will be meeting on Saturday 21st September and hope to see you there. See below for details.

BPCC Funds - a Committee to decide how to use them

We have a surplus in our funds and are returning to discussions about how these may be used. Some ideas in the past have been about subsidizing our own workshops, providing bursaries for people attending other organisations' workshops or low cost counselling. Would you be interested in being on a Committee formed to discuss/decide what to do with the funds? If so, please contact William at for more information and to register your interest.

Community Meetings

Community Meetings are held on the third Saturday at each month at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton BN1 1AF. We meet upstairs, usually in room 3, but the room number will be indicated on the whiteboard which is next to the Reception desk. Newcomers are always welcome, come along, say hi and see what it’s all about!

The next meeting at the Friends Meeting House is Saturday 21st September. The meeting runs from 9:30 to 12:30, but arrive a little earlier to give yourself time to prepare a drink. The cost is £5 to cover hire of room and tea, coffee and biscuits.

Social Media

We have an ever growing presence on Facebook and Twitter, so join us there, if you haven't already :) it's a great way to share updates on Community stuff and Counselling related articles.

If you see anything interesting that you'd like to share with the Community please feel free to post to our Facebook page, tweet us, or send by e-mail to and we'll share it for you.

If you're on Facebook why not 'like' our Brighton Person-Centred Community Facebook Page and join the other 160 plus people who enjoy our posts? Or if you prefer to Tweet our twitter following is now over 350 people! Find us @BrightonPCC.

Right, that's all from us for now. If we don't see you at the forthcoming meeting you'll hear from us again next month with the latest from the community.

Best wishes
