June Newsletter

Hello and welcome to the June edition of the Brighton Person-Centred Community news.

We have info on our Walking Community group on Saturday 10th June and the Community meeting at Friends Meeting House on Saturday 17th June. Read on also for some info on a Therapeutic Group and some Email Counselling CPD, both starting in September.

If you have any questions about attending the meeting, or if you have any ideas or feedback about things we can consider to strengthen the Brighton Person-Centred Community, then please contact Suzi (suzimac55@hotmail.com) and/or William (willjaj@virginmedia.com).

As always, if you have anything you'd like to share that you think would be supportive for Community members or want to reach out for something yourself, do consider using this newsletter as a way to do so. In order for something to appear in the newsletter please send it by the end of the month to appear in the next month's email (which will come out around the second week of the month).

In Person Meeting

The meeting will take place at 9.30-12.30 Saturday 17th June. You don't need to email to say you're coming but if you want to then you can contact William on willjaj@virginmedia.com.

It is £5 to attend but we do not wish money to get in the way if this amount is difficult for you. The fee attempts to cover the cost of the room, and if you would like to pay more than £5 you are welcome to. To pay online our bank details are: PERSON CENTRED COMMUNITY; 08-92-99, 65079432 or you can bring cash to the meeting. Refreshments are available in the break.

Walking Community

All are welcome to the new walking community group. The meeting will be Saturday 10th June at 10am, contact Chris on aihpos58@gmail.com if you are interested. Chris describes the group as follows:

"We can walk in silence, talk as we are walking and or both while in nature. This will be from the Warren Road Car Park at the top of the Brighton Racecourse. My only request for people attending is that confidentiality be maintained. That we take responsibility to listen with our hearts and communicate with empathy and respect. In my case I am also interested in authenticity."

In the event that it is too cold/windy a Zoom meeting is an alternative. Here are the details:
