Newsletter - Jan 2016
Hello there,
Here we are with the first installment of news from the Brighton Person-Centred Community in 2016..
Counselling in Calais
Calling all counsellors (including those not fully qualified or accredited) - your skills are needed in Calais to support refugees. A rota for counsellors has recently been set up in Calais and counsellors are needed to fill in the gaps. If you can spare a couple of full days then you're welcome to head over and make yourself available to volunteers who will need your valuable support.
Basic details are as follows:
£60 return on the ferry
£50 for a two night stay at the hostel
You'll also get free lunch and it is nice and healthy.
If you'd like to know more and/or put yourself forward then contact Ciaran O'Connor on

Community Meetings
Community Meetings are held on the third Saturday at each month at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton BN1 1AF (see map). Newcomers are always welcome, come along, say hi and see what it’s all about!
Next meeting is this Saturday 16th January. The meeting runs from 9:30 to 12:30, but arrive a little earlier to give yourself time to prepare a drink. The cost is £5 to cover hire of room and tea, coffee and biscuits.
